Travel Purpose: business

Negative: First of all, this is more like a sanatorium / retirement home. Secondly, the territory closes at 8 PM, and if you want to leave after that, you need to ask someone to open the gate. When we were checking out, the gate was not opened for us until we went back and asked again. The room was clean and we really liked it. Everything we needed was there. The director of this place, Philip, was very kind and pleasant — thank you very much to him. However, the staff was not very friendly to us. Yes, we don’t speak French, only English, and we are young girls, but we did not like the way we were treated. First, we were told to pay for two additional days on Monday (this was on Friday), and then for the next two days we kept being reminded about the payment. After we paid, the next day during check-out they asked us about it again and even called to confirm whether we had paid, even though we didn’t have time for that. They do not bring toilet paper or take out the trash — you have to ask for it. (Also, the knives in the kitchen are only suitable for butter.) We came for work for four days and from 9 AM to 10 PM we were not in the room, so it was difficult to find any staff after 8 PM. The room itself is great, but the issue with the staff and the fact that the territory closes early was very disappointing for us.
