Total tranquility nestled in a picture-postcard landscape, in the heart of the rolling countryside of the Côte Chalonnaise, in the hollow of a vineyard plateau (of the famous "Val d'Or"), on the slopes of a wooded hill protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" & ZNIEFF (for its rich fauna and flora), sheltering at its summit the ruins of the medieval fortified castle of Montaigu, built in the 10th century, steeped in history (having played a significant role in the Wars of Religion), overlooking the sublime Vallée des Vaux & the Val de Saône, extending from the "Montabon" hill covered in a vast forest.
